20. Students Allocated Tasks.

Once again we are completing another year with yet another product knows as Students Allocation Tasks 2012.
This requires the student to work on the allocated tasks – One item from every Module in our Curriculum.
The aim of this exercise is for the student to develop research and presentation skills to be used during his professional tasks.
The following is the format of the Tasks Allocated to individual students.
Slide 1: Front Page with School Blog, Students Blog and Phone Number of the Student.
Slide 2: Level of the Course: Most of the people don't know that our course is accredited as NTA Level 5,

Slide 3 - 6: A Word from the Principal, introducing this new product.

Slide 7: Best Animal. Each student has been allocated one animal he must research and present.

Slide 8: Guidelines on the points to be given priority when researching the Species of Birds allocated.

Slide 9: Best Bird Species.

Slide 10: Best Plant.

Slide 11: Being Professional is following Standards. We have all the Standards to be followed during the entire process of guiding tourists. Each student has been allocated one topic.

Slide 12: The Guide's Guide to Guiding Manual provides all the experiences of what Tour Guiding is all About!

Slide 13 - 28 Or more: Slides of Wildlife Ecology and Natural History taking a Commentary Approach. This prepares our students to ONLY talk of actions happening in front of them; hence the name Photographic Commentaries.

Slide ...: Outdoor Leadership & Wilderness Survival Skills. Tourists get sick and emergencies do happen. We have two main Manuals: Don't Die in the Bush and the WFR. Each student has been allocated ONE item to research.
Slide ....: Camp management. Many Tour Companies are operating Camps and we give our Students this subject as an added value. The Modules covers all job descriptions from way down - WATCHMAN  to the top - the CAMP MANAGER. Each student has been allocated one item.

Slide ...: Many Tour Companies require an EXTRA LANGUAGE and to this effect we have chosen to offer the German Language  to our students. Each student has been allocated ONE Lesson from the 30 Lessons.
Slide .....: We have a huge Video Library of Wildlife Documentaries. This is an excellent source of Wildlife knowledge and each student has been allocated at least ONE.

Slide ....: In order to graduate with Advanced and Diploma level one must do a project. This has no limit - we don't limit a student to a number of projects he can do. This way it is possible to measure as to how versatile each individual is.
Last Slide: Each student must provide reference of Person(s) to whom we can work together to make sure this exercise works out to the best satisfaction. The Parents, Guardians, Sponsors even friends are welcome.
End!
